Common operational questions
Does my store need Shopify Plus or Carrier-Calculated Shipping?
No. If your store has Carrier-Calculated Shipping enabled (included on Grow/Advanced/Plus, or free on any Shopify plan when billed annually), AxleMile quotes directly inside native Shopify Checkout. If you are on monthly Shopify Basic without CCS, we also install our Storefront Cart Rate Calculator so customers get exact mileage and trip quotes right in the cart.
How does the done-for-you setup work?
Submit your store URL, dispatch yard address, truck payload capacities, and mileage rates on the next screen. Marcus Bell sends a standard Shopify Collaborator request from our Partner account, configures your truck profiles, tests single-trip and split-trip carts, and walks you through the live quotes before switching it on for customers.
What if a customer mixes stone and mulch in one cart?
Unless your dump trucks run split gates, bulk stone and bark mulch cannot ride in the same bed without mixing. On the Fleet plan, AxleMile assigns separate material groups to separate truck runs automatically so checkout bills both deliveries accurately.

Every plan includes a 30-day full money-back guarantee. If AxleMile does not price your local truck deliveries the way your yard operates, email marcus@axlemile.com within 30 days for an immediate full refund.
