1. Information We Collect

AxleMile ("we", "our", or "us") provides local truck delivery rate calculation and route planning software for US Shopify merchants. When you submit a store setup request or connect your Shopify store, we collect business contact details (store name, Shopify URL, contact name, email address, phone number, dispatch yard address) and delivery order shipping coordinates, item weights, and dimensions required to calculate checkout rates and generate route manifests.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data strictly to calculate real-time delivery quotes, split heavy orders into legal truck runs, generate daily dispatch route sheets, process subscription billing via Stripe, and provide merchant support. We never sell merchant or end-customer personal data to third parties.

3. Data Retention & Security

Webhook payloads are verified cryptographically via HMAC-SHA256 signatures. Merchant portal credentials are stored strictly as cryptographic hashes. When a merchant cancels service or uninstalls AxleMile, associated customer delivery address records are purged within 30 days upon request or Shopify GDPR webhook receipt.
